Welcome to the IGDA Foundation Virtual Exchange application.

Thank you for your interest in our programs and this opportunity. Now in its 5th year, the Virtual Exchange provides exceptional learning opportunities from accomplished video game industry professionals that support underrepresented people who want to make video games. The six-week program offers workshops, coaching, and individualized mentorship from industry experts. Accepted grantees are selected from three personalized cohorts – International Scholars (including HBCU/HSI), Next Gen Leaders, and Velocity – each curated for support through different stages of one's career in games.

Who can apply? 

Our programs are open to individuals from underrepresented communities around the globe, including but not limited to: LGBTQIA+, women, people of color, BAME, LatinX, people with disabilities, people from a lower socioeconomic status, people of a non-dominant religion. Please use the following questions to advocate for why you should be selected for this program (in about 100-250 words per answer).
